After dinner speaker: Sir Christopher Hum KCMG. Sir Christopher is one of Britain's leading China experts. Some 18 years of his diplomatic career were spent working in or on China, culminating in the appointment as British Ambassador in Beijing (2002-2005). In 2006, on retirement from the Diplomatic Service, was elected Master of Gonville and Caius College Cambridge. For more information click here
The main Dining Hall, affectionately known as 'The Dome', built by Chamberlin, Powell and Bon, is a spectacular example of the groundbreaking architecture of the 1960's. The Dome has been completely refurbished, and provides a truly unique College venue for larger dinner events.
