Our previous golf challenge was on 17th July 2008. International Trade Focus hosted the "International Trade Golf Challenge", the third annual corporate golf event for everyone involved in international trade. Most of the industry was represented and many participants were known from the International Trade Forums, the Annual Export Luncheon and other industry events, so a good day was had by all!

WinnersJason Leonard, the world's most capped forward with 114 caps for England, was our special guest player on September 27th 2007. He reached his 100th cap for England against France back in February 2003. In an incredible career he has also represented the Lions on three tours, New Zealand in 1993, South Africa in 1997 and Australia in 2001. Before taking a break in 1998, he had only missed one match since his debut eight years earlier, apart from when he was on Lions duty in 1997. He had captained England twice, once against Argentina in 1996 when he also scored the only try of his international career, and also against Wales in 2003.

Jason Leonard
After playing an influential role in England's World Cup campaign and success, Jason decided to hang up his boots in March 2004 after 14 years of international service.

Jason is a special envoy for Dreams Come True children's charity and raised funds on the day.

We have some superb sponsorship opportunities. Overall event sponsorship costs £3500, or to sponsor a hole will cost from £1000 and can be used for a fun competition such as nearest the pin or the Great Shotlongest drive, etc. The International Trade Focus team can help you to organise a small event that adds to the day and ensures your attendance is remembered.

Sponsors can put banners up on the tees, and will be featured in International Trade Focus. The write-up will also be made available for your company newsletter & any other trade publication.
